Night Cat is a signed original limited edition print. This is number 1 out 10. Each print will vary slightly because they are printed by hand individually using Japanese rice paper and a baren for pressure to transfer the image from the block on to the paper. It is matted and backed with conservation board to fit a 16x20 frame. It will be carefully packed and shipped to prevent any damage. Shipping included in U.S. PayPal accepted. Welcome to my website. I am an artist from Torrington, Connecticut. The subject matter found in my paintings, pastels, and prints stem from the natural world. A starting point for me can be choosing one or more of the many photographs I take during hikes on surrounding trails. I call these photographs "Idea Sparkers" and they are used to create most of my landscape work. I am currently using animals as a main source of inspiration. I'm interested in the colors and endless textures that nature provides and how I can manipulate them into a cohesive composition and mood that work together to create an emotional response.
