A young boy sits awkwardly on the rocks after a hard day of playing at the beach on Block Island, New York. He is wishing the day would not end. This is a soft dreamy, Tonalist inspired painting. The muted tones and abandoned row boat add to the mood. Makes you wonder about his future.
