Artist's Description
This pastel painting was inspired by a visit to Ogunquit Maine, along the Marginal Way, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. I was hiking along the path and spotted this person walking across the rock ledge with a raincoat on and not intimidated by an on coming storm at all. I snapped a series of shots of her and developed the work based on my references. The pastel has some nice varying surface textures emphasizing the gritty moody atmosphere.
This pastel was exhibited at an annual juried show at The Kent Art Association located in Kent Connecticut, and won an Award of Excellence
Heading Back was created on archival board and will last a lifetime with proper care. Pay Pal accepted. Contact me where it says Contact Artist, for details and any questions. Thank you for your interest.
